Our vision

A world where decision-makers are equipped to ensure powerful new technologies benefit all of humanity.

Our mission

To accelerate people’s capability to have a significant positive impact.

Our values
  • Obsessed with empowering problem-solvers: We firmly believe in the capacity of our community members to solve global problems, and we’re determined to support them on that journey.
  • Ship fast and fail faster: We operate with speed as a habit in order to learn and improve as quickly as possible. We’re in a hurry to prevent global catastrophes.
  • Care personally and challenge directly: We care deeply about the wellbeing of our team, while also setting the bar high for performance and valuing clear, honest dialogue.
  • Energised by a challenge: We feel invigorated when met by obstacles, and we do whatever we can as a team to overcome them.
  • Relentless curiosity: The world is more complex than we’ll ever fully comprehend, but we’re motivated by a constant desire to learn and to engage with diverse perspectives.
  • Impact-focused: We’re enthusiastic about doing whatever it takes to achieve our mission, and we feel a deep responsibility to improve the lives of others.

Join Our Team

We’re focused on helping people create a better future for humanity. We do this by designing and running courses on some of the world’s most pressing problems, and providing engaging and action-guiding experiences for individuals and organisations that want to make a positive difference.

We’re a small and supportive team, and we prioritise personal and professional development. Our Friday afternoons are “Learning Fridays”, where we all work on self-directed learning projects, such as learning to code in a new programming language or improving our writing skills. We also support team members to receive coaching and external mentorship.

We share an office in East London with organisations focused on AI safety such as Apollo Research, Leap Labs, and SERI MATS, and the office has a great working environment and plentiful snacks. We will consider remote or hybrid work, though we prefer the entire team to be in London.

Other benefits of working with us include:

  • An annual £5,000 wellbeing budget and a £5,000 productivity budget
  • Private health, dental, and vision insurance
  • A 10% employer pension contribution
  • 25 days of paid vacation in addition to public holidays.
  • Competitive salaries
  • Visas for non-UK citizens.

We believe that a more diverse team leads to a healthier and happier workplace culture, better decision-making, and greater long-term impact. In this spirit, we especially encourage people from underrepresented groups to apply to join our team and our mission to help solve the world’s biggest problems.
